So why is Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) needed for a website? Well SEO is used to get your site displayed as high in the Search Engine Results Pages as possible, when people search for keywords or phrases that are relevant to your companies products and services.

How Do We Do It?

Nobody knows your own business better than you, so we always work with our clients to assess the most appropriate keywords and phrases that your customers might use. This enables us to tailor your website to include these keywords and help drive more people to your site.

Using online tools, we run through your keywords to determine the number of times they are searched each day. We can also assess other keywords searched more often than the ones chosen to again, drive more traffic to your site.

Search Engine Optimisation can be performed in many ways but at M&M IT we only use 'approved' methods of SEO which have been agreed by the Search Engine providors such as Google and Yahoo. We do not perform 'quick fix' solutions which may result in your website being temporarily or permanently blocked.

• Domain Names - choosing the right domain name
• Page Names - make the page names relevant to the product/service
• Page Titles - page titles need to match the services products the page is about
• Headings - headings need to contain the keywords/phrases which describe the pages contents
• Meta Information - must be tailored on each page so it features the keywords required for the pages contents..
